Welcome to Git Cute! Started in 2017 this remains my cozy corner of the Internet.

Cartoon character with buns, large eyes, smiling, waving, and cute blush marks.

Founded by Jocelyn Harper as a one-woman venture, Git Cute began as a mission to combat imposter syndrome in the tech world. What started as a personal project soon evolved into a thriving platform, with the success of the Git Cute Podcast and Jocelyn's book inspiring countless others to embrace their potential. Now, Git Cute offers not only guidance for overcoming self-doubt, but also cozy desk setups, gaming content, and technical courses to help you advance in your career—while staying grounded and confident.

Why Git Cute?

As a Staff Software Engineer with over 8 years of corporate experience working on the world’s largest distributed systems, I want to give the knowledge and experience back to others through the content, and now, consultations that I offer.

With a focus on cozy desk setups, custom keyboards, and practical tech advice, Git Cute helps you create a workspace that fuels both productivity and creativity and expand your technical knowledge.

I am excited to bring Git Cute and myself back to the love of software engineering and technology before I became jaded by the tech industry. To focus on the enjoyment of a new keyboard or getting a new planner to plan out my projects and days. To get back to the essence of why I love tech. And I hope that I can get you to love it again, too.
